Biography
Nick Robins is Senior Director, Climate Finance and Private Sector at the World Resources Institute, which he joined in October 2025. At WRI, he focuses on strategies for transforming the financial system to deliver climate, nature and social goals. Nick has over 25 years’ experience with sustainable finance, working in investment management, banking, finance policy and research. Over the past decade, Nick has focus on how to mobilise finance for the just transition. Prior to joining WRI, he was Professor in Practice at the London School of Economics, where he founded the Just Transition Finance Lab. Nick is a board member of the Tracker Group, and co-founder of its two key initiatives, Carbon Tracker and Planet Tracker. Nick served on the 2021-2022 Just Transition Commission.
