Biography
Dr Hannah Ritchie is Senior Researcher in the Programme for Global Development at the University of Oxford. She is also Deputy Editor at the online publication Our World in Data. She has also been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Statistical Society.
She holds a BSc in Environmental Geoscience, MSc in Carbon Management, and PhD, all from the University of Edinburgh. Her work focuses on data analysis and communication of both environmental trends, and socioeconomic changes across the world.
She has a particular interest in monitoring and tracking progress on crucial indicators towards the delivery of a Just Transition.
