Biography
Dave is Emeritus Professor of Carbon Management & Education at the University of Edinburgh. He served as co-chair of the JTC from 2023-26 and previous to that was executive director of the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute, and policy director of ClimateXChange. He was a member of the Green Jobs Taskforce for the UK Government, was chair of the Climate Emergency Skills Action Plan for the Scottish Government, and also chaired the Climate Change Committee’s expert advisory panel on skills for net zero.
